About
I help organizations make better product decisions.
For more than twenty years, I have worked at the intersection of customer insight, product strategy, accessibility, service design, technology, and organizational change.
Across government, nonprofit, financial services, retail, healthcare, and enterprise environments, the same pattern appears repeatedly: the hardest problems are rarely caused by a lack of technology. They are caused by unclear decisions, disconnected teams, inaccessible experiences, legacy processes, and operational work that people have learned to accept as normal.
I help leadership teams identify that friction, align around what matters, and turn strategy into products and services that work.
Leadership experience
- Built and led multidisciplinary product, design, and research teams.
- Scaled Detour UX to more than 20 staff and contractors across three cities.
- Led UX and service design at Sonnet Insurance, a regulated digital insurer.
- Led research and service design at The Co-operators.
- Advised leadership teams across government, financial services, nonprofit, retail, and enterprise organizations.
- Built Limena and Aucti from concept through product and commercialization.
Working style
I am comfortable working at both strategic and detailed levels. I can facilitate an executive strategy session, define a product direction, review an operating model, challenge a roadmap, and work directly with researchers, designers, product managers, and engineers.
I do not produce strategy and disappear. I help teams turn decisions into action.
Principles
How I approach the work.
- 01 Technology should reduce unnecessary work.
- 02 AI should keep people in control.
- 03 Accessibility should be built into how products operate.
- 04 Research should change decisions.
- 05 Product strategy should connect customers, business, operations, and delivery.
